I am so excited to finally get this site up and running! I want to share that I am inspired by each and every one of my customers. I love to be challenged by new and exciting project ideas. Bringing a vision to life is the best part for me!
I shared a little about myself and my family in my bio, but I wanted to share a little more in this blog. I am an adoptive mother of three amazing boys! My husband Chris, and I saw a need to become foster parents and that, as many of you may know, took us on a roller coaster ride. We never intended to adopt, but unfortunately, our state did not find it in the children's best interest to return them to their birth parents and we needed to make a choice. They had all stolen our hearts and we knew we didn't want them going anywhere else if they couldn't go back to their parents. We have definitely had our ups and downs, but I would't change our decision to adopt those three silly boys for all the tea in China. They are my world and I love all three of them with all my heart.
My husband is a 13 year veteran police officer and we are a proud blue family! He and I met in 2017 and were married the same year. We recently celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary.
I am currently training my full size F1 Sheepadoodle (Half Old-English sheepdog and half full size poodle), named Zola to be my service animal as I suffer from anxiety and depression as well as type 2 diabetes. She is currently in the public access part of her training, but once she is task trained she will be able to do deep tissue compression for pain as well as anxiety. She will also be able to smell to see if my glucose levels are too high or too low.
My love for crafting began during a time when I felt I had no identity. I was struggling with life and it seemed as though all I did was go to work, come home and take care of my kids and husband, go to bed and do it all over again. I had nothing for me. Around that time, my cousin was going through a separation from her husband and we invited her to move in with us. She owned a Cricut machine and I had already helped her make several projects in the past, but once she moved in, my curiosity took off and I fell in love with the crafting world! When she moved out and took the Cricut machine with her, I knew I had to get my own. I knew I had found what I had been searching so long for. Crafting for me is more than just a side job or a hobby, it's become something I am passionate about and look forward to the next time I get to go in my craft room and make something beautiful!
I look forward to hearing from each of you. I can't wait to start crafting your beautiful ideas!
With Love,
Tara Ashworth
